Hi, I'm Cathy, the creator of IT-Adventures.

I've worked in Information Technology since the 80's, starting in data entry and working my way up through workstations support, infrastructure engineering, and now IT consulting. After nearly 40 years in IT, I've learned that keeping the technology running isn't always the most stressful part. The real challenge is the people side - management changes, impossible deadlines, corporate politics and often being the only woman in the room.  Besides a lot of exercise and the occasional adult beverage, one of the main ways I've dealt with the stress is with humor.

That's why I started IT-Adventures.

The designs here aren't the usual "Have you tried turning it off and on again?" jokes. They're created for the people who live IT every day - systems administrators, network engineers, cybersecurity professionals, and the only woman in the department.  They are the ones who understand jokes like "Can You Ping It?", "Another Diving Catch" and "Yup I Just Said That".

As a woman in IT, I also create designs that encourage other women in the field.

Every design is inspired by real experiences from someone who's been there. Whether you're buying for yourself or searching for the perfect gift for your favorite IT professional, I hope you find something that makes you laugh and say, "Yep... I've lived that."
